Biography
Tomaz Alves de Souza, also credited as Tomaz Alves Souza, is a Brazilian composer and musician. He has composed original scores for numerous films, often in collaboration with his brother Mateus Alves, including Bacurau (2019) and The Secret Agent (2025), both directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho.
His other credits include Cinema, Aspirins and Vultures (2005) and Pictures of Ghosts (2023). He began working in film music in the mid-2000s and has received several awards and nominations for his compositions.
