Biography
Tommy Lane (1937–2021) was an American actor and stunt performer. Born Benjamin Thomas Lane in Liberty City, Miami, Florida, he began his screen career with appearances in the television series Flipper in the mid-1960s.
He played Leroy in Shaft (1971), Adam in Live and Let Die (1973), and roles in Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970), Ganja & Hess (1973) and Shamus (1973). He also performed stunts in several films and appeared on stage, including in productions at the Players End Public Theatre in New York and Bowling Green University. Lane was additionally a jazz musician who played the trumpet and flugelhorn.
