Biography
Tomokazu Miura (also credited as Minoru Miura) is a Japanese actor. Born on 28 January 1952 in Enzan, Yamanashi, he attended Hino High School in Tokyo. He was originally a member of the rock group RC Succession before moving into acting in the 1970s.
Miura gained early prominence through films and television dramas, frequently appearing opposite singer and actress Momoe Yamaguchi. They married in 1980, after which Yamaguchi retired from entertainment. He has since taken on a range of character roles. His credits include House (1977), Typhoon Club (1985), The Taste of Tea (2004), Outrage (2010), Beyond Outrage (2012), The Secret World of Arrietty (2010) and Perfect Days (2023), in which he played Tomoyama.
