Biography

Toni Kalem is an American actress, screenwriter and director. Born on 29 August 1956 in Springfield, New Jersey, she began her career in the late 1970s with roles in films such as The Wanderers (1979) and Private Benjamin (1980).

She is best known for portraying Angie Bonpensiero on the HBO series The Sopranos (2000–2006). Kalem also wrote the episode 'All Happy Families...' (2004) for the series. Her other screenwriting credits include an episode of The Big C (2010). In 1999 she wrote and directed the feature film A Slipping-Down Life.
