Biography
Toshimitsu Takeuchi is a Japanese screenwriter and series composer, also credited as 竹内 利光. Born in Hokkaido in 1969, he graduated from Tamagawa University and completed the 17th term of the Japan Scenario Writers Association scenario course in 1991.
He has contributed scripts to numerous anime series, including episodes of Haikyu!! (2014). He is credited as director on One Piece (1999) and has served as series composition or main writer on titles such as Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold (2015), Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens (2020) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! (2022).
