Biography
Tré Cool, born Frank Edwin Wright III, is a German-born American musician and actor best known as the drummer for the punk rock band Green Day. He joined the band in 1990.
Cool appears as himself alongside bandmates Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt in the 2026 comedy film Nimrods, for which Green Day also received a story credit. He has provided voice work in animated features and series including The Simpsons Movie (2007) and King of the Hill.
