Biography
Treshelle Edmond is an American actor. Born on 10 September 1990 in San Bernardino, California, she is deaf and attended school in Alabama, where she learned American Sign Language and first performed on stage. She later graduated from Fairfax High School in Los Angeles.
Edmond's early screen credits include a guest role as Laura in House (2009) and appearances as a member of the deaf choir in Glee (2009–2013). She studied at California State University, Northridge, and performed as Martha Bessel in the Deaf West Theatre production of Spring Awakening, which transferred to Broadway in 2015.
She has also appeared as Maya in Master of None (2017) and as Sopapilla in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019).
