Biography
Trond Fausa Aurvåg is a Norwegian actor and director. He graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 2001 and has been associated with Oslo Nye Teater since then, appearing in productions including Amadeus and Manndomsprøven.
His film roles include the lead in Den brysomme mannen (2006) and Tatt av kvinnen (2007). He is known for playing Torgeir Lien in the series Lilyhammer (2012–2014). He won two Amanda Awards in 2006, for best actor in Den brysomme mannen and for directing the short film Alene menn sammen. He received a Gullruten Award in 2014 for his performance in Lilyhammer. Other credits include Oppenheimer (2023) and Norsemen (2016–2020).
Aurvåg is married to actress Lena Kristin Ellingsen.
