Biography
Troy Kingi is a New Zealand actor and musician. Born on 1 June 1984 in Rotorua, he is of Te Arawa, Ngāpuhi and Te Whānau-ā-Apanui descent and was raised in Rotorua, Te Kaha and Kerikeri.
Kingi’s screen credits include the role of Hone in Mt. Zion (2013), TK in Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016), Coach in The Breaker Upperers (2018) and Tux in The Mountain (2024). He has also appeared in The Pā Boys (2014), Kiwi Christmas (2017), Alien Addiction (2018), Toke (2020) and Muru (2022), and composed music for several projects.
