Biography

Tulé Peak is a Brazilian production designer and art director. He trained as an architect and began working in film by transporting sets before taking on art direction roles.

He is best known for his production design on City of God (2002), directed by Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund. Peak has collaborated frequently with Meirelles and O2 Filmes on projects including Elite Squad (2007), Blindness (2008) and Trash (2014). His credits also include art direction on The House of Sand (2005) and production design on The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (2019).

Peak has received multiple awards and nominations for art direction, including wins at the Prêmio ABC de Cinematografia and Prêmio Guarani for City of God.
