Biography
Ty Franck is an American novelist, screenwriter and television producer. Born in Portland, Oregon, he is best known for co-authoring the science fiction series The Expanse with Daniel Abraham under the joint pseudonym James S. A. Corey.
The novels were adapted into the television series The Expanse (2015–2022), on which Franck and Abraham served as writers and producers. Franck previously worked as a personal assistant to George R. R. Martin and has contributed to Martin's Wild Cards shared universe. He has also written a Star Wars novel with Abraham.
