Biography
Typhoon is a baboon who worked as an animal actor in several films. Its credits include an uncredited role as Baboon in The Fly (1986) and the title role of Shakma in Shakma (1990). It also appeared as Boon in Unmasking the Idol (1986) and The Order of the Black Eagle (1987).
Typhoon was handled by Gerry Therrien of Action Animals. According to its IMDb page, director David Lynch offered to pay for a memorial service and burial after Typhoon's death; it is the only animal interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
