Biography
Tyson Perkins is an Australian cinematographer of Arrernte and Kalkadoon heritage, based in Sydney. He began in commercials, music videos and documentaries, including the award-winning Firestarter – The Story of Bangarra.
His television credits include Mystery Road: Origin (2022), for which he won the AACTA Award for Best Cinematography in Television, Heartbreak High and Thou Shalt Not Steal (2024). Feature work includes Went Up the Hill (2024) and Leviticus (2026).
