Biography
Ubah Mohamed is a Somali-American television writer and producer. She grew up in the United States and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television writing. In 2014 she was one of eight writers selected for the Disney/ABC writing programme out of 2,000 applicants. She had previously participated in the Cosby writing programme.
Mohamed has written episodes of The Whispers (2015), Arrow (2018) and DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2017–2020), where she also worked as a story editor. She contributed to Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024) and has written for The Handmaid's Tale (2025). She has also worked as a producer on several series.
