Biography
Uwe Preuss is a German actor. Born in Dresden in 1961, he trained at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, completing his studies in 1990, and made his stage debut in 1992 at the Dresden State Theater. He later performed at venues including the Berliner Ensemble.
Preuss made his television debut in 2003. He is known for his recurring role as Markus Fuchs in the series Deutschland (2015–2020), as well as appearances in Im Angesicht des Verbrechens (2010), 4 Blocks (2017–2018), Dogs of Berlin (2018) and the long-running Polizeiruf 110 (recurring as Henning Röder from 2010). Film credits include Phoenix (2014), Alone in Berlin (2016) and Rising High (2020).
