Biography
Valentin Féron is a French film editor and composer. After studying at the École préparatoire Arts Plastiques (Atelier de Sèvres) and the Université Jules Verne in Amiens, he completed a master's degree in cinematography at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2009. He began working as an editor in 2010 on the short film Vers le Nord, directed by Youssef Chebbi, for which he also composed the score.
Féron has edited numerous feature films, including Two Is a Family (2016), Someone, Somewhere (2019), Black Box (2021), The Origin of Evil (2022), Visions (2023) and The Substance (2024). He co-edited the latter with Jérôme Eltabet and director Coralie Fargeat. He has also worked on television series such as Bref and Les Enfants sont rois (2024), and frequently collaborates with directors including Yann Gozlan and Sébastien Marnier. He is a co-founder of the record label Bookmaker Records.
