Biography
Valentina Ananina is a Soviet and Russian actress. Born on 18 May 1933 in Moscow, she graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in 1957, studying under Yuli Raizman.
She is known for her role as Lyuba in The Cranes Are Flying (1957). Ananina has appeared in more than 200 film and television roles since her debut in 1955, often in supporting or episodic parts, including Ballad of a Soldier (1959), Walking the Streets of Moscow (1964) and The Postman's White Nights (2014). She was an actress at the Studio Theatre of Film Actor from 1957 to 1990.
