Biography
Valeria Cavalli is an Italian actress and model. Born in Turin, she began her career in the early 1980s as a model and television presenter in Milan before moving to Rome. She gained early recognition for her appearance in the variety show Fantastico 4 (1983–1984).
Her breakthrough film role came in Giuseppe Tornatore's Everybody's Fine (1990). Cavalli has appeared in numerous Italian and international productions, including Double Team (1997), The Mother of Tears (2007), Asghar Farhadi's The Past (2013) and A Perfect Man (2015). She won the Grolla d'oro for best actress for her performance in Ettore Scola's Mario, Maria e Mario (1993).
