Biography
Valerie Lilley is a Northern Irish actress born on 14 April 1939 in Larne, County Antrim. She trained with Joan Littlewood's Arts Workshop in London in the early 1960s and spent many years working as a stage actress throughout the UK.
Her television credits include a recurring role as Patty Croker in the Channel 4 series Shameless (2010–2012). Other appearances encompass Doctors, Grange Hill, Emma (2009) as Mrs Bates, No Offence (2015) as Peggy Tierney, Cuffs (2015) as Tilly, Innocent (2018) as Eleanor Price, and Bloodlands (2021) as Linda Corry. She has also appeared in Casualty and The Catherine Tate Show.
