Biography
Valerie Mamches was an American actress. She appeared in the independent drama Wanda (1970), directed by and starring Barbara Loden, as the girl in the roadhouse, and in the horror film Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (1972) as Val.
Mamches performed on stage at Arena Stage alongside James Earl Jones and Ronny Cox. From 1980 she worked as an acting coach and teacher in Los Angeles and Seattle, including at UCLA Extension and CalArts. She owned the Valerie Mamches professional studio and taught acting in Seattle.
