Biography

Valérie Pozzo di Borgo is a French costume designer. Born in Paris in 1956, she began working in film with the 1986 short Le Goûter chez Niels and took on regular credits from 1989.

Her early feature work includes costume design on Delicatessen (1991), for which she received a César nomination and shared the European Film Award for production design. She has worked on films such as The Sentinel (1992), Wild Target (1993), The Apprentices (1995), Passion of Mind (2000) and À ton image (2004), often collaborating with directors including Arnaud Desplechin, Pierre Salvadori and Pierre Jolivet.

She is the sister of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo.
