Biography
Vanessa Marimbert is a Spanish film and television editor. Born in Santander in 1972, she studied journalism at the University of the Basque Country and specialised in film editing at the ECAM with a scholarship from the Fundación Botín.
She has edited feature films including Amar (2016), El plan (2018) and The Good Boss (El buen patrón, 2021), for which she won the Goya Award for Best Editing in 2022. Her credits also include documentaries directed by Carlos Saura such as Flamenco, Flamenco (2010) and work on television series. She is a co-founder of the Asociación de Montadores Audiovisuales de España (AMAE).
