Biography
Vanessa Parise is an American film and television director, writer, producer and actress. She trained at the Circle in the Square Theatre School Conservatory, the Second City Improv Conservatory and the Global Cinematography Institute.
Parise directed an episode of Grey's Anatomy (2024). Her other directing credits include episodes of The Flash (2022–2023), Firefly Lane (2021–2022), The Good Doctor (2020), The Resident (2020), Chicago Med (2020), Marvel's Runaways (2019) and Charmed (2018–2019), as well as the television film The Simone Biles Story: Courage to Soar (2018). She directed, wrote and starred in the feature film Kiss the Bride (2002), which won the Golden Starfish Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival. Parise has received a Leo Award nomination for Best Direction.
