Biography
Vanessa Ramos is an American television writer and producer. She has written episodes of Superstore, Crashing, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Mr. Mayor, and served as a producer on several of these series.
She grew up in San Antonio, graduated from Texas State University and moved to Los Angeles, where she worked at the box office of the improv theatre iO West before starting stand-up and writing jokes for comedians. She joined the staff of Comedy Central Roast specials and later wrote for @midnight.
Ramos created and showran the Netflix workplace comedy Blockbuster (2022). Her other credits include Kenan, Bordertown and The Roast of Tom Brady (2024). In 2021 she signed an overall deal with Universal Television.
