Biography
Vanessa Rubio is an American actress. She is known for playing Carmen Diaz in the Netflix series Cobra Kai (2018–2025), initially in a recurring role and later as a series regular.
Rubio was born on 6 December 1983 in New Jersey to Colombian parents. She graduated from New York University and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She began acting in the early 2010s and has also written and directed short films.
Her other credits include How to Be Single (2016), Master of None (2015), Bonding (2019) and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2020).
