Biography
Vanio Amici is an Italian film editor and director. Born in Rome in 1947, he began his career in the late 1960s as an assistant editor on productions including God Forgives... I Don't! (1967) and Waterloo (1970). He took on lead editing duties from 1979, working on Italian genre films and later television series.
Amici edited horror and exploitation titles such as Ænigma (1987), Troll 2 (1990, credited as Vania Friends) and Black Demons (1991). He also directed two low-budget action films under the pseudonym Bob Collins: The Bronx Executioner (1989) and Detective Malone (1991). His editing credits extend to numerous Italian television productions in the 2000s.
