Biography
Vicente Amigo is a Spanish flamenco guitarist and composer. He contributed the end titles theme, performed with singer El Pele, to the 2002 film Talk to Her.
Born in Guadalcanal near Seville, Amigo was raised in Córdoba. He trained with guitarist Manolo Sanlúcar and began his solo career in the late 1980s. His album Ciudad de las Ideas (2000) won the 2001 Latin Grammy for Best Flamenco Album and the 2002 Ondas award for best flamenco work. He has accompanied singers including Camarón de la Isla and acted as producer for artists such as Remedios Amaya and José Mercé.
