Biography
Victoria Hochberg is an American film and television director and writer. She graduated from Antioch College with a BA in history in 1974. She is one of the Original Six, the group of women directors who founded the Women’s Steering Committee of the Directors Guild of America in 1979.
Hochberg has directed episodes of series including Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1993), Melrose Place, Ally McBeal (1997), Sex and the City, Ghost Whisperer and Reaper. Her television films include Jacob Have I Loved (1989) and Sweet 15 (1990). She directed the feature Dawg (2002) and music videos for the Eagles and Boz Scaggs. She has won two Daytime Emmy Awards for directing Just a Regular Kid: An AIDS Story (1988) and Sweet 15 (1990).
