Biography
Jeremy Kagan is an American film and television director, screenwriter and producer. Born in Mount Vernon, New York, he received a B.A. from Harvard University in 1967 and attended New York University and the American Film Institute Conservatory.
His feature film credits include Heroes (1977), The Big Fix (1978), The Chosen (1981) and The Journey of Natty Gann (1985). He has directed episodes of series including Columbo, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Chicago Hope (for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series), The West Wing and The Guardian.
Kagan is a professor at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and has served as artistic director of the Sundance Institute.
