Biography
Victoria Mitchell was a Canadian actress and casting director. Born on 13 February 1933, she appeared in a number of Canadian television productions during the 1960s and 1970s, including episodes of Festival, Playdate and Scarlett Hill, and played First Witch and Gentlewoman in the 1961 television film Macbeth.
She also worked in casting on several feature films, serving as casting director on City on Fire (1979), The Last Chase (1981) and Hot Money (1986). Mitchell appeared as a storyteller in Sarah Polley’s documentary Stories We Tell (2012). She died on 10 May 2016 in Toronto.
