Biography

Vincent Beck (15 August 1924 – 24 July 1984) was an American character actor. He began his career on the stage, making his Broadway debut in 1946 in A Flag is Born. Subsequent stage work included Peter Pan, Oliver!, Gypsy and Bells Are Ringing.

Beck appeared in films including Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) as Voldar, ...And Justice for All (1979) as Officer Leary and Vigilante (1983) as Judge Sinclair. His television credits include episodes of Get Smart, Gilligan's Island, The Time Tunnel, Lost in Space, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Monkees. He served as president of the New York branch of the Screen Actors Guild from 1983 and as third vice president of Actors' Equity from 1982.
