Biography
Vincent Gil (also credited as Vince Gil) was an Australian actor. He is best known for playing Nightrider in the 1979 film Mad Max and Doctor Death in the 1974 film Stone.
His other film roles include Roff in Evil Angels (1988), Pud in Body Melt (1994), the Sheriff in The Bank (2001) and an Old Merchant in Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022). He appeared in numerous Australian television series, among them Matlock Police, Neighbours, A Country Practice, Prisoner and The Doctor Blake Mysteries (2013). Gil began working in theatre in 1963 and continued acting in film and television until 2022.
