Biography

Vincent Klyn (born Vincent Klijn) is a New Zealand-born American actor and former professional surfer. Born on 30 June 1960 in New Zealand, he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of four and began surfing competitively as a teenager, reaching the top five surfers in the world on the World Wide Surf tour in the mid-1980s.

He made his film debut in Albert Pyun's Cyborg (1989) as the villain Fender Tremolo opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme. Klyn appeared in several further Pyun-directed films, including Bloodmatch (1991), Kickboxer 2: The Road Back (1991), Dollman (1991), Nemesis (1992) and Double Dragon (1994). He played Warchild in Kathryn Bigelow's Point Break (1991) and had guest roles on the television series Baywatch in the 1990s and 2000s.
