Biography
Violet Dunn was a Canadian actress. Born in Toronto, Ontario, on 28 May 1905, she began her career on Broadway in the 1920s with roles in productions including Within Four Walls (1923), The Whole Town's Talking (1923), Hell's Bells (1925) and Buckaroo (1929).
Her film appearances include Doctors' Wives (1931) as Lou Roberts and The Black Camel (1931) as Anna. She later appeared in the television series The Doctors (1963) and as Verla in Rachel, Rachel (1968). Dunn was married to director and producer Hamilton MacFadden from 1929 to 1933. She died in New York City on 14 November 1982.
