Biography
Virginia Cole was an Irish actress. She began her career at the age of seventeen as Concepta Feeney in the RTÉ soap opera Tolka Row. She went on to appear in numerous Irish television series and films, including Wanderly Wagon, The Irish R.M. (1983) as Briget Brickley, The Clinic, The Snapper (1993) as Doris Burgess, and Agnes Browne.
Cole also performed on stage and in RTÉ Radio Drama. She later qualified as a barrister in Dublin. She died on 8 November 2018 in Rathmines, Dublin.
