Biography
Vladimir Cvetko is a television writer and producer. He hails from the former Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States in 1987, settling in California. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from California State University, Chico, and a Master of Fine Arts in screenwriting from the University of Southern California.
Cvetko began his career in television with production assistant roles on series including My Own Worst Enemy (2008) and Outlaw (2010). His first writing credit was the Once Upon a Time episode "Hat Trick" (2012). He has written episodes of Kingdom (2014), Power (2014–2018), Impulse (2019), Power Book II: Ghost (2023), Power Book IV: Force (2022) and The Penguin (2024). He has also served as a producer on several of these series.
In 2025 he won a Writers Guild of America Award for the limited series The Penguin and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series as co-executive producer on the same programme.
