Biography
Vladimir Lvovich Mashkov is a Russian actor and theatre director. Born in Tula in 1963, he trained at the Novosibirsk State Theater Institute and began working with Oleg Tabakov's theatre company. He made his film debut in 1989.
Mashkov is known for his performances in Russian films including The Thief (1997) and for Western roles in Behind Enemy Lines (2001), 15 Minutes (2001) and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011), in which he played Sidorov. He also directed, wrote and produced the 2004 Russian film Papa (Daddy), in which he starred.
