Biography
Vladimir Petrovich Zamansky (also credited as Vladimir Zamanskiy) is a Soviet and Russian stage and film actor. He was born on 6 February 1926 in Kremenchuk, Ukrainian SSR, USSR.
Zamansky graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School in 1958. He worked at the Sovremennik Theatre and later the Theatre-Studio of Film Actors. His film roles include Sergei in The Steamroller and the Violin (1961), Alexander Ivanovich Lazarev in Trial on the Road (1971, released 1986), and the uncredited voice of the Professor's telephone interlocutor in Stalker (1979).
He was named a People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1989 and received the USSR State Prize in 1988. He was married to actress Natalia Klimova.
