Biography
Vu Bui is a film producer and media executive. He serves as Chief Media Officer at Mojang Studios, the developer of Minecraft, a position he has held since joining the company in Stockholm in 2012, initially as Chief Operations Officer.
Bui is a producer on the 2025 film A Minecraft Movie, directed by Jared Hess. He previously worked as a photographer and filmmaker in Los Angeles with his brother Lan under the name The Bui Brothers, and he is president of the board of the Block by Block Foundation, a non-profit using Minecraft for community projects.
