Biography
Waage Sandø is a Danish actor, director and theatre leader. Born on 8 May 1943 in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, he trained at the Private Theatre School from 1964 to 1966.
He has worked extensively in theatre, serving in leadership roles at Aarhus Theatre, Odense Teater, Det Danske Teater and Folketeatret, and has been attached to the Royal Danish Theatre since 1990. Sandø appears in films including Pain of Love (1992) and Godland (2022), and in television series such as Landsbyen (1991–1996), Rejseholdet (2000–2003), Krøniken (2003–2006) and Bedrag (2016).
