Biography
Waddy Wachtel is an American guitarist, composer and record producer. Born Robert T. Wachtel on 24 May 1947 in Jackson Heights, New York, he moved to Los Angeles in 1970 and established himself as a session musician.
He has worked as a guitarist and collaborator with artists including Stevie Nicks, Warren Zevon, Linda Ronstadt, Keith Richards and the Rolling Stones, Jon Bon Jovi and Iggy Pop. Wachtel has composed or co-composed original music for films including Joe Dirt (2001), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grandma's Boy (2006), The House Bunny (2008), Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009), Jack and Jill (2011) and Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser (2015).
