Biography
Wally Taylor (1930–2012) was an American actor. Born in Maywood, Illinois, he worked in film and television from the late 1960s until the mid-1990s.
His film roles include the Controller in Escape from New York (1981), Clubber Lang's manager in Rocky III (1982), Detective Boggs in The Golden Child (1986), Detective Landis in Night of the Creeps (1986), and O.Z. in Crossroads (1986). Television appearances include a security guard in Knight Rider (1982), a bartender in Moonlighting (1985), and a chaplain in Tour of Duty (1987).
Taylor also performed in theatre, including a production of Before It Hits Home at Arena Stage.
