Biography
Walt Dohrn is an American animator, writer, director and voice actor. Born on 5 December 1970 in Orange County, California, he began his career in television animation, writing and directing episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants in the early 2000s.
Dohrn is known for his work at DreamWorks Animation. He provided voices for characters including Rumpelstiltskin in Shrek Forever After (2010) and multiple roles in Shrek the Third (2007). He co-directed Trolls (2016) and directed its sequels Trolls World Tour (2020) and Trolls Band Together (2023), in which he also voiced King Peppy, Cloud Guy and other characters. In 2020 he signed a multi-year deal with the studio.
