Biography
Warren Berlinger (31 August 1937 – 2 December 2020) was an American character actor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career as a child performer on Broadway in the original 1946 production of Annie Get Your Gun.
He appeared in further Broadway productions including Blue Denim and Come Blow Your Horn. His film credits included Teenage Rebel (1956), Morgan in The Long Goodbye (1973), Shakey Finch in The Cannonball Run (1981), Stew Percy in The World According to Garp (1982) and the Polaroid television host in That Thing You Do! (1996). On television he had guest roles in Friends (1994), Columbo (1971), Murder, She Wrote (1984) and Grace and Frankie (2015).
Berlinger was married to actress Betty Lou Keim from 1960 until her death in 2010; they had four children.
