Biography
Wayne Newton is an American singer and actor. Primarily known as a Las Vegas entertainer since the late 1950s, he has appeared in numerous films and television series, often playing himself or characters associated with the city.
His film roles include Professor Joe Butcher in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989), for which he wrote to the producers expressing a long-held ambition to appear in the series. He has also appeared in Vegas Vacation (1997), Ocean's Eleven (2001) and Smokin' Aces (2006), and provided voice work for American Dad! (2005) and Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil (2011).
