Biography
Wendy Calhoun is an American television writer and producer. She studied film and television at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts as one of the university’s first Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholars.
Her credits include writing and producing on Justified (2010), where she served as executive story editor and co-producer; Life (2007, credited as Wendolyn Calhoun); Revenge (2011); Nashville (2012); Empire (2015); Station 19 (2018); Prodigal Son (2019); and The Rookie: Feds (2022). She received a Peabody Award for Justified, which was named among the Writers Guild of America’s 101 Best Written TV Series of the last century, and two WGA Best New Series nominations. She serves on the board of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
