Biography
Wendy Greene Bricmont is an American film editor. She studied English, theatre and film at Oberlin College before beginning her career in a New York company specialising in editing television programmes, documentaries and films.
She first worked as an assistant editor under Ralph Rosenblum on the television drama Bernice Bobs Her Hair (1976). The following year she co-edited Woody Allen's Annie Hall (1977) with Rosenblum; both received the BAFTA Award for Best Editing. Bricmont edited her first film independently with Love Letters (1983).
From 1990 she maintained a long collaboration with director Ivan Reitman, often working alongside editor Sheldon Kahn on films including Kindergarten Cop (1990), Junior (1994), Evolution (2001) and Six Days Seven Nights (1998). Her other credits include My Girl (1991), Mean Girls (2004), Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010), The DUFF (2015) and Set It Up (2018). She is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
