Biography
Wendy Morgan is an English actress. Born in 1958 in Radlett, Hertfordshire, she trained and began her career in theatre, appearing in numerous productions at the National Theatre including Yonadab, Martine (for which she received Olivier and Evening Standard nominations), A Streetcar Named Desire and Coriolanus.
She won the Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Newcomer in 1980. On screen she is known for roles in Yanks (1979), The Mirror Crack'd (1980) and 84 Charing Cross Road (1987), and for playing Susan Layton in the television series The Jewel in the Crown (1984). Later credits include appearances in Casualty, Wire in the Blood (2002) and Edie (2017).
