Biography
Wendy Partridge is a British-Canadian costume designer working in film and television. Born on 20 September 1954, she began dressmaking in England at the age of 14. She moved to Edmonton in the 1970s and to Calgary in 1986.
Partridge has designed costumes for films including Hellboy (2004), Underworld (2003), Blade II (2002), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Silent Hill (2006), Pompeii (2014) and Togo (2019). She also worked on the television series Hell on Wheels and Shadow and Bone.
Her awards include a Canadian Screen Award for Pompeii (2014) and Genie Awards for Passchendaele (2008) and Loyalties (1986). She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Broken Trail (2006) and Saturn Award nominations for Hellboy and Thor: The Dark World.
