Biography
Wes Tooke is a screenwriter and producer. He began his career as an editor, feature writer and editorial consultant before moving into film and television.
Tooke wrote the screenplay for the 2019 feature film Midway and served as an executive producer on it. He previously worked as a writer and executive producer on the USA Network series Colony (2016–2018) and as a co-executive producer on the Amazon series Jean-Claude Van Johnson (2016–2017). He also wrote the screenplay for the 2021 documentary feature The Rescue.
In addition to screen work, Tooke has written several novels, including the adult novel Ballpark Blues (2003) and the young adult novels Lucky (2010) and King of the Mound (2012). He holds a degree in political economics from Princeton University.
